Position Description
The University of South Florida Counseling Center (Tampa, FL) invites applications for three 12-month full-time Senior Staff Psychologist position.

The Counseling Center is seeking an experienced psychologist with strong clinical skills, including experience working in a university or mental health setting. In addition, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in individual and group counseling; prevention, education, and consultation; emergency and crisis response; formal psychological assessment; supervision; knowledge of evidence-based models of counseling; knowledge of applied research in the field; and experience with serious mental health issues.

The Counseling Center is a critical component of the Division of Student Affairs and strives to support the mental health and wellbeing of the student body. Through the provision of high quality clinical services and best-practice, innovative outreach, consultation, and education, the Counseling Center is recognized and valued for its contribution to student success. The Counseling Center, with a staff of 23 professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, is accredited by IACS and has an APA- accredited pre-doctoral internship.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, and an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship. Must be eligible for licensure as a psychologist in Florida.

Desired Qualifications
Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship, with at least one year of post-doctoral experience in a counseling or mental health setting. Clinical experience in crisis management/ suicide prevention. Demonstrated skills in formal psychological assessment, outreach programming, consultation, crisis response, outcomes assessment, training and supervision.
