Staff Psychologist - Specialty in International Students

Position Description
Will be responsible for crisis intervention, international student outreach, individual and group counseling, consultation with faculty and staff, outreach and liaison services, supervision of master-level and doctoral trainees, and educational activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing more than four years of graduate study beyond a bachelor’s degree, such as a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program; one year APA-accredited doctoral internship; one year of related experience in a mental health setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; full licensure as a psychologist by the State of Michigan; or license eligible by the State of Michigan.
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated competency and expertise in working with multicultural and international populations; fluent in an Asian language; design and implementation of psycho-educational programming and outreach experience; experience in brief psychotherapy and crisis intervention; experience in training and supervision; one year post-doctoral internship.
