University Counseling and Psychological Services
Competitive. Lehigh University offers an equitable & competitive benefits package including partner benefits.
This is an opportunity to join a high energy, “willing to try out new ideas” staff, well integrated and much appreciated on campus. The senior staff is relatively small but three pre- and post-docs along with a number of other doctoral level trainees help create a vibrancy to the place that makes work enjoyable. The Staff Psychologist’s purpose is to help undergraduate and graduate students flourish, develop essential life skills and effectively integrate academic and student life along with maintaining or enhancing psychological and interpersonal health within an inclusive, equitable campus environment. This is enacted through administrative, supervisory, educational, consultative, and psychotherapeutic involvement and intervention. While the primary constituency served is the Lehigh student body, the purpose is achieved through collaboration and consultation with faculty, staff, parents and appropriate others in addition to the direct service provided to students.
