Salary Range

Position Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordination, administration, and evaluation of the Eating Disorder/Body Image program at the Counseling Center which includes clinical, and outreach and activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborating with on and off campus departments to develop outreach programs for the campus, chairing a university-wide community on these topics, leading a peer education program, updating policies and procedures, training staff and interns/externs, and leading a body image group.
Minimum Qualifications
: To be considered, applicants must have a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, a pre-doctoral psychology internship in a university counseling center (or equivalent setting), at least two years professional experience, preferably in a university based counseling center, and licensure as a psychologist in Maryland. Extended hours may be required for outreach, campus events, or emergency situations. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate understanding of and commitment to diversity issues, program development and evaluation, and who possess excellent communication skills.

The Eating Disorder program at Towson University Counseling Center includes an Anti-diet/Health at Every Size approach and preference will be given to candidates whose ideas are consistent with this approach.
