Psychologist or Social Worker (half-time temporary for 8 months)
Counseling and Psychiatric Service (CAPS)
Georgetown University has an opening for a half-time psychologist or social worker, from January through August 2013, in its Counseling and Psychiatric Service. We are looking for a generalist who possesses excellent clinical skills.
Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology; or an MSW; and license-eligibility.
Previous college mental health experience plus D.C. licensure/certification as a psychologist or social worker.

(Georgetown was a thriving Maryland tobacco port in the 1700ís. When the District of Columbia was carved out of Maryland and Virginia, Georgetown was included within the Districtís boundaries. The City of Washington, a separate village within the District, grew into and annexed Georgetown in the 1800ís.)
Washington, D.C., is about two hours from Atlantic coast beaches and about two hours from the mountains in Virginia and West Virginia.
