Region Description
In describing San Antonio, one of our former post-doc’s described it as: "Home of the River walk, The Alamo and the NBA Champion Spurs, San Antonio is truly a big city that feels like a small town. The culture rich city offers renowned art museums, theatre and fine dining. For those who love the outdoors, San Antonio is perched on the edge of Texas Hill Country which offers hiking, biking and river tubing.
