Position Description
Invites applications for a Senior Staff Psychologist. It is a generalist position with primary responsibility for the coordination of Research Services.

Full-time, 12-month position. Responsibilities: generalist duties in treatment of college students in individual, group, and couples therapy; psychological evaluations; training/supervision of trainees; consultation and crisis intervention. CAPS is accredited by the Joint Commission and is part of an integrated Student Health Center. The psychology training program is APA accredited.




Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: Doctorate in counseling or clinical psychology. Licensed-eligible in South Carolina and will consider applicants needing post-doctoral supervision for licensure purposes. Qualified applicants will have experience in working with college population/young adults, strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills with emphasis on short-term treatment interventions and competence/sensitivity in working with a multicultural population. Interest/skills with applied research and program evaluation and an ability to work within a multidisciplinary setting.

Region Description
The city of Clemson is located in the far western point of South Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with easy access from I-85. Clemson is also on the shores of Lake Hartwell. It is approximately 2 hours from Atlanta.
