Job Description:
Assistant Coordinator Sexual Assault Counseling and Education (SACE) unit.

Summary of Position:
Provide individual and group psychological counseling, along with crisis intervention and referral services to University students in order to seek resolution to personal, emotional, vocational or social problems, with emphasis on sexual assault, relationship violence and sexual harassment. Provide case management and ombudsperson services to survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence and sexual harassment through the investigative and legal process. Respond to campus emergencies as a member of Tuttleman Counseling Services Trauma Response Team using Critical Incident Stress Management protocols. Work cooperatively with both university departments and community based agencies to enhance efforts related to the prevention of sexual assault, relationship violence and sexual harassment. Provide clinical supervision as needed. Serve on departmental and university committees. Participates in the centerís walk in clinic to immediately assess and triage the needs of students accessing services. Assists in the development and implementation of educational programs on sexual assault and sexual harassment for faculty, staff, student leaders, and the general student population.

Essential Functions:
Provide counseling, assessment, crisis intervention, and referral services. Facilitate therapy and support groups.

Provide consultation to various constituents including faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Participate as a member of the counseling centerís walk in clinic team.

Serve as a member of one of the centerís two CISM teams and provide occasional after hours trauma response.

Provide supervision to fellows, interns and externs in the departments training program as needed.

Assist with orientation for new and transfer students.

Assist with maintenance of counseling center website, database, and print materials as needed.

Participate in hiring and other departmental committees.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the field and participate in ongoing professional development by conference attendance.

Other duties as assigned.

People Supervised: Supervision of trainees and possibly also professional employees with licensure.

Job Qualifications: A doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred. Licensure or eligibility in Pennsylvania preferred. One to three years related experience, preferably in a college counseling center setting. This experience may have been through an internship or post-doctoral training.

Other Pertinent Data: Working knowledge of Titanium scheduling software and other computer software preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or Clinical Social Work.

Desired Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with licensure or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker or eligible as LCSW in Pennsylvania.
