Position Description
George Mason University Counseling and Psychological Services seeks to fill a temporary one-year full-time counselor or psychologist position. Position will provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, educational outreach programs, consultation with faculty and staff, and supervision of masters and doctoral trainees. Applicants must have training and experience in working with a culturally diverse population of university students. Experience working with GLBTQ university population is highly desirable.

Minimum Qualifications

Desired Qualifications
Currently licensed in the state of Virginia highly desirable. Candidates who have completed a doctorate but are not yet licensed will also be considered. Completion of a counseling center APA-approved internship and experience in the multiple functions of a comprehensive university counseling center are also desirable. Experience working with GLBTQ university population is highly desirable.
