Full-Time 10 Month Position, $43,612 - $50,494

Position Description
Essential Responsibilities: evaluation and brief therapy for students, crisis assessment and intervention, group therapy, training and supervision of predoctoral interns, consultation to faculty, staff, and students’ families regarding concerns about a student, psychoeducational programs to the campus community, share responsibility for after-hours consultation to University Staff via cell phone, and participation on University committees

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate degree in counseling or clinical psychology

Licensed Psychologist or license eligible within the state of California

Demonstrated knowledge and skills in addressing the needs of a diverse student population

Desired Qualifications
Prior college or university counseling center experience

Two years post-degree experience with young adults

Experience providing training and supervision to predoctoral psychology trainees/interns

Multicultural competence and experience in working with students of color and underserved populations is essential.

Demonstrated experience and ability to work as part of a team

Ability to deal independently with a wide variety of student psychological needs
