Position Description
This position is for 10 months/year, with 9 months from August through May, followed by 1 summer month, which may vary from year to year. The primary job responsibilities include providing counseling services for Villanova University students, faculty and staff. These services include individual counseling, group counseling, consultation, emergency assessment, crisis intervention, and psycho educational outreach services. The staff member must comply with detailed clinical supervision from the director or her designee, as required by Pennsylvania law and professional ethical standards. The psychologist will maintain clinical records, in keeping with the established standards for record-keeping within the counseling center. The psychologist will make use of the Counseling Center Database (Titanium), will attend and participate in clinical/administrative meetings, as scheduled, and perform other duties as assigned. The psychologist is part of the on-call rotation, responding to mental health concerns after-hours.

Minimum Qualifications
Earned, completed Doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D. or Ed.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology. License eligible within 14 months in Pennsylania.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in a College Counseling Center is strongly preferred. Internship and/or post-doctoral fellowship strongly preferred.
