Position Description
Assists the Director of Counseling in providing counseling services, resources and referrals for students and provides short term counseling for students. Collaborates with faculty and staff regarding student problems. Provides educational programming to students about personal and social concerns.

The weekly work schedule is 20 hours per week. Minimal on-call responsibilities and some evening and weekend hours are required.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Counseling or related area required; doctorate preferred. Must have or be eligible to obtain state license in Iowa.

Desired Qualifications
Counseling experience with college students and familiarity with a residential liberal arts college strongly preferred. Experience with counseling individuals about eating disorders, substance abuse, self-harm, and sexual assault are desired.
