Position Description
The Staff Psyhcologist reports to the Director of Counseling Services and works as a memeber of a collaborative team providing psychological services and psycho-educational programming to undergraduate, graduate, law students and other other university community members as appropriate. The Staff Psychologist participates in a comprehensive program that is designed to enhance student development, foster responsible decision making, facilitate the sense of campus community and assure accessible, quality clinical care to meet the psychological and developmental needs of university students. We serve the needs of a university population of 9700 students.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or an allied field;
- Demonstrated competence in individual and group counseling with diverse populations;
- Experience in the area of substance abuse assessment;
- Demonstrated competence in psycho-educational program planning and implementation;
- Understanding of and willingness to support the Seton Hall University Catholic Mission;
-license eligible NJ

Desired Qualifications
- Substance abuse treatment experience
- Experience in college/university counseling;
- Specific areas of expertise and experience relevant to a diverse college student population (e.g., multicultural issues, assessment);
- Supervisory experience
-NJ license
