Position Description
The University of Memphis Center for Counseling, Learning and Testing seeks an applicant to fill a full-time 12-month Psychologist position. Once licensed, duties would include individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, career counseling, outreach programming, crisis intervention, rotating on-call responsibility and supervision of practicum students and interns in our APA Approved Predoctoral Psychology Internship Program. Ability to conduct learning disability and ADHD evaluation for adults is preferred.



Minimum Qualifications
A doctorate in counseling or clinical psychology is required, with an APA approved program and internship preferred. License eligibility as a Psychologist-Health Service Provider in Tennessee is required. State license must be obtained within one year of employment.

The Center for Counseling, Learning and Testing is focused on holistic student development and provides career counseling, psychological, tutoring and educational support, and testing resources for University of Memphis students. The Center is fully accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS) and the predoctoral internship in psychology is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The University of Memphis serves more those 20,000 students who are enrolled in six colleges and three schools offering fifty-three undergraduate degree programs and master’s degrees in 46 subjects and doctoral degrees in 21 disciplines, in addition to the Jurist Doctor (law) and a specialist degree in education.
