Position Description
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic MSW or Counseling/Clinical Psychologist to join our staff in a full-time, 9-month position. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented generalist with demonstrated knowledge and experience in the areas of outreach and community engagement and development. Responsibilities will include: providing brief therapy counseling services including clinical intake interviews, diagnostic assessment, treatment plans and implementation, group therapy, documentation; leadership in community work including workshop facilitation, professional consultation and contribution to social change initiatives; supervision and other training for interns and practicum students; and collaborative work with other university units. A commitment to, demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with community psychology, multiculturalism and social justice is necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Earned MSW or PhD/PsyD in Clinical/Counseling Psychology with current Oregon license, or be licensed within one year
- Team-oriented generalist with demonstrated commitment to outreach and community engagement and development
-A commitment to, demonstrated knowledge of and experience with, community psychology, multiculturalism and social justice
- A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity
- Incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal Background Check and be deemed fit for duty at placement and while serving in the position.

Desired Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialization in one or more of the following areas: African American issues; substance abuse and intervention; fluency in a foreign language (Spanish or Chinese preferred), DBT groups.
- Previous counseling center experience is desirable
