Position Description
Full-time staff psychologist to provide psychological evaluations, individual counseling, consultation, crisis intervention, on-call rotation services, and outreach education to undergraduate cadets, evening undergraduate students, and graduate students at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology. 2. Licensed or licensed-eligible as a clinical psychologist in South Carolina, or licensed as a counseling psychologist in South Carolina. 3. Experience providing services in a college counseling center. 4. Experience providing short-term counseling.

Desired Qualifications
1. Experience providing alcohol and substance abuse assessment and treatment. 2. Experience working with students interested in the military and/or veterans.

University Description
The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, offers both an undergraduate degree program and a graduate degree program. The undergraduate program includes about 2000 students/cadets, all of whom live on campus and participate in military activities, and about 100 of whom are women. The graduate program includes about 2200 students who live off-campus.

The Citadel Counseling Center reports directly to the Provost and the Dean of the College.

Region Description
The Citadel is located on the Ashley River in Charleston, South Carolina. The college is near the Medical University of South Carolina, a five minute drive to historic downtown Charleston and the College of Charleston, and a 15 minute drive to several local area beaches.
