Position Description
Duquesne University Counseling Center invites applications for two full-time, 12 month postdoctoral psychology resident positions starting August 1, 2010 (or as soon after that date as possible). This position provides the post-doctoral supervision requirements needed to obtain state licensure as a psychologist.

The University Counseling Center postdoctoral residency offers a training experience focused on clinical practice with primarily traditional-aged college students in a private, Catholic university. Clinical duties will include some after-hours on-call work. The residency also offers opportunities for outreach and consultation with students and DU staff/faculty, program development, and opportunities to gain experience with the administrative aspects of college mental health services. In this capacity, residents will occasionally be required to provide programs and/or attend University functions outside of regular business hours.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. All requirements for doctorate must be completed prior to start date.

Desired Qualifications
College counseling experience preferred.
