Objectives of a Plan

• Provide maximum preparation for responding to a campus crisis in order to reduce potential injury or damage

• Provide a coordinated interdisciplinary comprehensive response to a campus crisis

• Facilitate assistance to direct and indirect victims of the crisis situation and to those providing assistance to victims

• Provide coordinated and accurate internal and external communication

• Facilitate coordination with external agencies

• Prepare for post crisis support, evaluation, and resolution
