Coverage Options

  • Local Coverage: Encompasses KUMC facility and the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  This coverage also includes north to St. Joseph, south to Branson, southwest to Wichita, west to Topeka (including Lawrence), and east to Jefferson City. 
    • Cost Numeric: $3.80 Alpha: $5.55
  • Nationwide Coverage: Nationwide covers all states without having to change coverage zones with a code.
    • Cost Numeric: $20.65 Alpha: $17.55

Note: Please be aware that patrons are traveling to far Western Kansas (Hays, Goodland, etc.), nationwide coverage will not reach these areas. Patrons may consider page copy, which would copy pages to email, cell phones and/or other pager numbers for an additional fee of $2.50/month/destination. More details below.

Additional Features

  • Voicemail: Voicemail can be added to pagers for an additional fee of $1/month/pager. To add this feature, please fill out a pager form with an authorized billing signature.
  • Page Copy: Page Copy allows messages to be copied to an unlimited number of destinations, such as email, cell phones and/or other pager numbers for an additional fee of $2.50/month/destination. To add this feature, please fill out a pager form, including destination and phone provider as indicated along with an authorized billing signature.

Note: Patrons assume responsibility for text messaging charges incurred based on their individual cell phone carrier text messaging plan. Pages will be copied to your phone anywhere in the U.S. provided your cell phone provider has coverage in that area.
