The Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery is extremely grateful to all who have contributed to our Department and to the various funds that help our research, clinical and educational programs.
You may support the Department by giving online or by sending a check. Either way, your gift is 100 percent tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes. If you would like more information on which funds need your support the most or on how to create a new fund altogether, please get in touch with the department’s Senior Director for Community relations, Christine Adams at cadams3@kumc.edu or (913) 945-5077.
A gift to this fund provides unrestricted support to the department
for infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipment, faculty recruitment
and patient support activities such as educational materials.

A gift to this fund will support cutting-edge research in the
department’s clinical and research programs, such as the
investigation of hearing and balance disorders, cancer, allergy
and sinus disease and voice disorders.

Gifts benefit the department’s resident education program
by purchasing books for the library, supporting travel to conferences
to present research papers, or to participate in outside educational
opportunities.

The department currently supports several medical mission trips
a year to underserved countries. Residents participate in these
trips to develop an appreciation for international medicine. A
gift to this fund will provide support for our resident participation.

A gift to this fund will support research grants for our residents
thus allowing them to gain valuable research experience. This fund
was established as a memorial tribute to a former colleague from
the department.
