The University of Kansas Medical Center Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program has the goal of graduating knowledgeable, skilled, and ethical orthopedic surgeons. This goal continues to be achieved each year. The superb facilities, teaching staff, and curriculum are integral to this impressive tradition, but the residents themselves become one reason for the success of the training program. Residents are important as individuals whose skills and needs are identified and addressed and also as members of a close-knit team working together on their path toward graduation.
