Current rotations available for 3rd year student in the SC Region include: family medicine and surgery.
Students spend their rotations
either in McPherson, Moundridge
or Hutchinson. McPherson has several family practice physicians, an internist
and three surgeons willing to take students for their rural rotation. Moundridge
has 4 Family Practice physicians, all
who take students into their practice. Moundridge physicians also have
a clinic in Inman. Students doing rotations in Moundridge will be housed
in McPherson.
McPHERSON AREA
McPherson is a town of 13,000. There are 12 parks, some with walking and running trails. McPherson has 32 churches, 34 restaurants, public library, movie theatre, laundry-mat, WalMart, book store, public golf courses, tennis courts, bowling alley, YMCA, etc.
Moundridge is 20 miles South of McPherson and is a smaller community, but within easy driving distance to McPherson.
