University of Kansas Post-Baccalaureate Program


Instructions

The University of Kansas Post-Baccalaureate Program is a thirteen-month program that begins at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, and ends with the Pre-Matriculation Program at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine in Kansas City. Activities include diagnostic testing with personalized skill development counseling, supplemental instruction, and mentoring. The academic curriculum focuses on upper level science courses.

The Admissions Subcommittee reviews individual student performance at the end of each semester. Admission into the University of Kansas School of Medicine is contingent upon completing a minimum of 9 credit hours of science courses and a total of 12 credit hours, earning both science and cumulative grade point averages of 3.0 or better.

Interested students must have interviewed with the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. Selection is by invitation only. Students who are admitted to the Post-Baccalaureate Program will receive financial assistance.
