Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) Program Application Forms

 

Applications must be submitted by March 25, 2011. A selection committee will review completed applications, transcripts, and essays. Students will receive notification no later than April 18, 2011.

Note: Once you have saved your online application, you must use the following information below to either view or complete and submit your application:

UserID: First Name + Last Name (with no spaces)

Password: 2-digit Month + 2-digit Day of Birthdate + Last 4 digits of Social Security Number (for a total of 8 digits)

For example: UserID: JohnDoe (first name + last name)     Password: 01019876 (mmddssss)

Summer Programs Time-line:

The following programs are traditionally held in the summer for the students of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools: GCRC, Camp PathOlogical, Summer Science Academy, and HSEI-I.

  • Application Deadline: March 25
  • Committee Reviews: April 1
  • Notifications: No later than April 18
  • Orientations:
    • GCRC: April 28
    • Camp PathOlogical: May 10
    • Summer Science Residential Academy: May 12
  • Start date for most programs:
    • GCRC: June 1
    • Camp PathOlogical: June 6
    • Summer Science Residential Academy: June 1

Fall Programs Time-line:

The following programs are traditionally held in the academic year for the students of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools: Multimedia program, Saturday Academy, Youth Leadership and Development Corps, and Biomedical Research Interns, and Center of Excellence Interns.

  • Applications posted: August 17
  • Paper copies sent to Pipeline students: August 17
  • Application Deadline: August 31
  • Committee Reviews: September 9
  • Notifications: September 16
  • Orientations:
    • Saturday Science and Math Academy Middle School: September 20
    • Saturday Science and Math Academy High School: September 22
  • Multimedia Training: mid September
  • Start date for most programs:
    • Saturday Science and Math Academy: October 8
    • Multimedia: September
