The Greater Kansas City Health Professions Pipeway Initiative (GKC-HPPI) joins the
resources and programs of The University of Kansas Medical Center and The University of Missouri Kansas City--their schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Allied Health to increase the participation of underrepresented minority students in health professions and other science-intensive careers. The goal of the Pipeway is to develop multi-institutional, multi-disciplinary strategies that lead to greater participation of minorities in the health professions and other science intensive careers.
