Neuro-Oncology

At the University of Kansas Department of Neurosurgery we have an active neuro-oncology program where we biopsy and / or resect a large variety of tumors of the brain and spinal cord.  In addition, all neuro-oncology patient cases are reviewed by a multidisciplinary tumor board consisting of neuro-oncology,  neuroradiology, radiation-oncology, neuropathology, and neurosurgical specialists who have an interest in tumors of the central nervous system.  Any physician from any specialty is welcome to present their patient to the tumor board for an opinion for optimal management based on the evidence presented.
