Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Ridings graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock. He completed a medical internship at the same institution followed by a residency in Neurology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. From there he completed a one year fellowship in neuromuscular disease under Dr. Richard Barohn at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
He then entered private practice before joining the faculty of the University of Kansas Department of Neurology in April, 2001. Dr. Ridings is Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with added qualifications in clinical neurophysiology.
Dr. Ridings' practice focuses on intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during spinal and brain surgery and electromyography (EMG) with clinical time spent in neuromuscular disease and general neurology.
