To all nurse midwifery students, please make sure you consider the ACNM Foundation scholarship opportunities that can be found on the ACNM website at www.midwife.org.
Consider applying, the award is typically non-directed and can be used for any pursuit to achieve your academic goals!
Staff Departure:
We are sad to announce the departure of Marta Skalacki from the Nurse Midwifery Education program as projects manager. Marta’s last day was Jan 9th. She is now working in Telemedicine, and CME with the School of Medicine as project manager of the bio-terrorism grant she wrote for KDHE and Kansas. Marta has left us many venues to grow our program, continue with essential program database elements, and many skills about grant writing. We will miss her attention to detail and her many attributes that strengthened our program. Best wishes to her in her future career path.
