Charges: 

• Review and assess the medical education database as it relates to number, qualifications and functions, personnel polices, and governance of the faculty
• Assess the tools available for professional development of faculty
• Assess the efficacy of developing faculty as educators
• Assess the opportunities and rewards for teaching efforts
• Assess the role of the faculty in determining medical school policy
• Identify strengths and weaknesses
• Submit recommendations and a summary report to the Self Study Task Force
