• Review and assess the medical education database as it relates to the governance, administration and the academic environment
• Review and Revise, if necessary, the mission statement of the University of Kansas School of Medicine
• Review the Medical School’s organizational structure, including committees of the Dean
• Assess the efficacy of the faculty, Chair and departmental review process
• Assess the adequacy of the administrative oversight of the educational programs
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of the existing structure
• Submit recommendations and a summary report to the Self Study Task Force
