The Mid-America Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (MAPEHSU) is located at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) in Kansas City, Kansas.  It is one of 13 Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units supported by the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics (AOEC) and funded by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-Region 7 (EPA-7).  MAPEHSU serves EPA's Region 7, which includes the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
