Pediatric Nephrology

Some of the patients seen by KU Pediatrics.

We provide diagnosis and treatment of renal (kidney) diseases in children, including:

  • difficulties with urinary control;
  • bedwetting;
  • infections;
  • kidney stones;
  • blood or protein in the urine;
  • nephritis;
  • nephrotic syndrome;
  • kidney (renal) failure.

We offer a wide range of procedures and interventions, including:

  • medical and surgical management;
  • kidney (renal) biopsies;
  • artificial kidney treatment (dialysis); and
  • kidney transplantation
