Kansas City has many sporting events to offer.

See Major League Baseball at Kaufman stadium. Recognized as one
of baseball's most beautiful venues for over thirty years, "The
K" offers enjoyment for the whole family. All seats offer
a wide view of the field. Kids under 32 inches are admitted free
with an accompanying adult. Children can experience the feeling
of big league action with a visit to the Little K. The miniature-sized
interactive ballpark, located beyond right field, gives kids 12
and under a chance to hit one out of the park! In addition, one
lucky child is featured live on the JumboTron during each game
during the Pepsi Long Ball Challenge. There are also batting cages
for the "bigger kids". Sluggerrr, the official mascot
of the Royals, provides in-game entertainment for kids of all ages.
Finished in 1972, Arrowhead Stadium has been called the loudest
open-air stadium in the country. When filled with screaming fans
for a Monday night game, it is easy to believe. With Kaufman Stadium,
Arrowhead forms the Truman Sports Complex,
a
visionary two-stadium project built when most markets preferred
a single dual-use stadium. We are proud of the vision and dream
of those who brought it to reality.
Arrowhead is also home to some of the best amateur barbecue in
the country. On many nights the parking lot will be covered in
a haze of smoke and a mouth-watering aroma from all the tailgaters.
The
Kansas Speedway has brought the world of NASCAR to the Kansas City
metro area.
