We are extremely proud of our Medical Students. Pediatrics consistently wins the coveted Voice Award. This is given annually by the Medical Student Assembly to the clinical rotation chosen as the best in the medical center.

Why do we mention this? Because these students provide an excellent opportunity for residents to hone their teaching and interpersonal skills. These awards are evidence that our residents are quite successful in this. Teaching students trains you for your future, whether you go into academic medicine or need to teach your patients and their parents. Just as you should never stop learning, you also should never stop teaching.
