The Program, continued:

• A letter is written to congratulate the winner.

• The letter is delivered to the student at his school by the resident and the hospital “JayDoc” mascot.

• A certificate is given to the principal to recognize the winner as a product of their school.

• Businesses offering tax deductible awards receive a certificate of participation as well as advertisement of their charitable act.
