Because our patients cannot always come to us, the University of Kansas Pediatrics Department has long believed that outreach programs are an essential component of a quality health care delivery system, and has operated many clinic locations over the years.

Our ambulatory (general) pediatricians provide primary care to the children of Wyandotte and Johnson counties through our main clinic in the Miller building, satellite locations in Kansas City and Prairie Village, local health department clinics, and a groundbreaking telemedicine link to schools in the Kansas City, KS school district.

In addition, our pediatric specialists bring their expertise to our many rural outreach clinics located throughout the state of Kansas. Finally, our specialists are always available for consultation on any troublesome question that might arise.
