How to Access KU Pediatrics

To arrange an admission or transfer your patient to the pediatric inpatient service, PICU, or the NICU:

  • Call the KU Transfer Center at (913) 588-9999 or 1-877-738-7286.
  • Tell the Transfer Center which inpatient service you want to transfer your patient to and they will arrange a conference call with the attending physician and the senior resident. They will work with you to arrange the transfer as quickly as possible.

When your patient is transferred to KU, we will contact you regularly with updates. If you have questions about a patient in the KU Hospital, please page the senior pediatric resident anytime at (913) 917-3333.

To schedule an appointment in an outpatient clinic during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.):
