Chet Johnson, Director
of the DDC, Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics,
is a Developmental Pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy
of Pediatrics.
After completing pediatric training in New York City, Dr. Johnson completed
a Developmental-Behavioral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, with
T. Berry Brazelton. Dr. Johnson is board-certified in Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental
Disabilities and Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics. He is the
chair of the AAP National Committee on Early Childhood and a member of
the AAP Early Brain Advisory Group and the Professional Advisory Board
of the Johnson County Autism Society. He has extensive experience with
developmental and behavioral problems and is particularly interested
in family-centered care and teaching in an interdisciplinary setting.
