Rodent Behavior Facility at KUMC

Complex Behavior and Transgenic Mouse Testing Facility

The Complex Behavior and Transgenic Mouse Testing Facility is located on the University of Kansas main campus in Lawrence.

The goals of this facility are to meet the needs of investigators for precise behavioral techniques and analysis in the study of animal models of development, health, and disease. The opportunities offered to our investigators will insure their continuing contribution to the growing body of translational research.

The site is run and maintained by the Biobehavioral Measurement Core of the Kansas Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities Research Center. Please see the Personnel page for relevant contact information and to schedule equipment usage and/or training.

Note: At the present time, this facility is only semi-operational. A fully operational testing site is awaiting new renovations on the second floor of Malott Hall. The construction is to be completed by Fall, 2006. Although investigators are encouraged to contact personnel with regard to equipment usage and/or training, please be advised that current space and time is limited.
