Kansas IDDRC supports new key technologies
The Kansas IDDRC has taken a lead role in establishing and facilitating critical technologies at the University of Kansas for over 44 years. The KIDDRC is proud to announce the introduction of Next Generation Sequencing to the family of KIDDRC technologies. Located in Room 1015 of the Hemenway Life Sciences Innovation Center on the KU Medical Center Campus, the new Illumina HiSeq 2000 provides state of the art deep sequencing for a host of applications. This instrument complements our long-standing genomics efforts using the Affymetrix GeneChip platform. KIDDRC also supports bioinformatics analysis of NextGen data and computational support for data acquisition and manipulation.
