Manages and provides training to staff in carrying out quality control related activities in the Kansas Cancer Registry. Will manage 3 to 4 on-site personnel. Occasionally will manage up to 25 people during audits and workshops.  
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Medical Records, Biology or related field. Applicants who do not have CTR certification will not be considered. Minimum of 3 years of technical/professional experience in tumor registry. At least 1 year in a managerial and supervisory capacity. Knowledge of abstracting and data quality control procedures. Demonstrated record in providing training and education. Demonstrated record in effective communication both verbally and in writing. Experience working effectively with hospital administrators, cancer reporting personnel and medical records personnel. Knowledge of anatomy, MS-Office Word and Power Point software application.

In and out of state travel for registry related activities required.  
Master's degree or equivalent experience in Medical Records, Biology or related field.
