Eligibility Requirements:
 
Disease Characteristics
 
Cytologic diagnosis of AGUS and complete histological exam of cervix (cone or LEEP biopsy) is planned
 
Prior/Concurrent Therapy
 
Cytologic diagnosis within 6 months of planned conization/LEEP biopsy
 
No previous or concurrent treatment with radiation to the vagina or cervix
 
No previous cytotoxic chemotherapy for vaginal and/or cervical cancer
 
Patient Characteristics
 
No history of hysterectomy
 
No history of endometrial, vaginal or cervical cancer or hyperplasia
 
Not HIV positive
 
Not pregnant or at risk for excessive bleeding or preterm labor if cone biopsy if performed
