Eligibility Requirements:

Disease Characteristics

Good histological types

Tumor size less than 2 cm

Grade I or "favorable" grade II

EIC absent

Axillary nodes negative

Margins negative or with 1 or 2 foci of microscopic disease post-surgery

Patient Characteristics

More than 60 years of age
