The transdisciplinary palliative care team at the University of Kansas functions to meet the needs of patients and families at the University of Kansas Hospital through intensive whole patient care, family support, and teamwork in partnership with our referring teams. Currently on the team we have 2 full time and 5 part time Palliative Care physicians, 2 full time and 2 part time advance practice nurses, 2 full time social workers, and the expertise of our hospital system's 4 chaplains.
