Research Interests
Esophageal Carcinoma:
There is need to better understand the biology of this cancer to give
us clues in prevention, early detection and therapy of this highly
fatal disease.
Pancreatic Carcinoma: This malignancy poses as a major challenge in
Gastrointestinal Oncology partly because of advanced presentation
and chemotherapy resistance.
Colorectal Carcinoma: Our group is interested
in outcome analysis in rectal cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant
therapy treated at the Veterans’ Administration
