ACUTE BRONCHITIS:SIGNS/SYMPTOMS

• Cough

• Sputum (Amt/color important)

  • Viral: rarely ɮ Tbs/d, mucopurulent
  • Bacterial: ɮ Tbs/d, purulent

• Chest pain: If present, substernal, aggravated by coughing

• Wheezing & sight dyspnea on exertion
