Self Assessment, Theory II objectives
The following are course objectives for Theory II. Please do a self assessment and respond (for your own record) to each of the following. Then refer to the instructor's comments.
My level of comfort with the following is:
1. Discuss selected organizational, sociological and cultural theories as they relate to the internal and external environments of complex systems.
2. Explore the extent to which selected theories have been used to guide research and/or policy development on the health functioning of complex client systems.
3. Evaluate the relevance of selected theories for nursing practice with complex client systems.
4. Use selected theories to focus observations and assessment and formulate therapeutic interventions for complex client systems.
5. Formulate researchable questions on identified problems of the complex client system using a selected theory.
