Grave’s Disease Treatment
Relapse after meds stopped usually occurs within first few months.
May repeat course of ATD’s but ablation s/b considered
ATD’s generally used for young adults, pts with mild thyrotoxicosis, small goiters, or fear of isotopes. Elderly also respond well.
