Hypothyroidism: Signs

• Physical Exam (Common):

  • Skin is coarse, cold, pale
  • coarse hair
  • periorbital edema
  • hoarse voice
  • goiter
  • myxedema (nonpitting)
  • delayed relaxation of reflexes (Achilles)
