SHOULD YOU TAKE AN ONLINE COURSE?

This information is designed to help you assess if you are the type of learner that will excel in a web-based, online course.

What type of learner are you?

Are you an organized, self-motivated, independent learner? Do you adapt well to new learning technologies? Do you like working on your own time? If so, you may be an ideal student for an online course.

What skills will you need?

In order to participate fully, you will need to know or learn some basic computer skills before enrolling in an on-line course. Many of these skills are easy to learn on your own through individual study. Courses teaching these skills are often available through local community programs, colleges, or libraries.
